In 2012, I transitioned to a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and in 2013 I began my faculty position at KU. I am currently an Associate Professor in Department of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Kansas. I am also an affiliate of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
